South Korean pop group ATEEZ is now the first non- ‘Big 4 agency’ group to become a "million seller" with their latest album THE WORLD EP.1 : MOVEMENT.

Boy group ATEEZ has officially been named as the latest million seller act in K-pop and we couldn’t be happier! The octet’s ninth mini-album ‘THE WORLD EP.1 : MOVEMENT’ which was released on July 29 has achieved a certification for selling over a million copies. This is the first of its kind million seller title acquired by the group, marking a notable career growth for them.

According to Korean media portal Soompi, on September 8, Circle Chart (formerly known as Gaon Chart) announced that ATEEZ’s latest album had received an official million certification for selling over one million copies since its release on July 29.

Notably, ATEEZ is the first boy group not from one of the “big 4” agencies – namely HYBE, SM Entertainment, JYP Entertainment, and YG Entertainment – to have an album reach the “million seller” club.

Previously, ATEEZ’s THE WORLD EP. 1: MOVEMENT debuted at No. 3 on the US Billboard’s main album chart Billboard 200, achieving their highest ranking yet and entered a total of 6 Billboard charts at the same time.
