Two of his mega-hits, “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham” and “My Name Is Khan,” set the cash registers ringing at the U.K. box office, establishing new benchmarks as the highest-grossing Indian films in the region at the time of their release. In 2012, his affinity for the U.K. was further solidified when he was designated as a goodwill ambassador for Visit Britain, participating in a special campaign aimed at enticing individuals to discover the wonders of the country.

Dharma Productions has played an instrumental role in a plethora of films including “Sooryavanshi,” the Baahubali series, “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani,” and “Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna.”

Karan Johar’s star-studded talk show, “Koffee with Karan,” has garnered a massive following since its inception in 2004, initially airing on the Star network and later transitioning to Disney+ Hotstar for streaming.

This year marks a monumental milestone for Johar as he celebrates his silver jubilee in the entertainment industry. This significant occasion will be marked by the release of his upcoming film, “Rocky aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani,” featuring the dynamic duo of Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh. The movie is set to hit the screens in the U.K. and worldwide on July 28th.

The momentous ceremony honoring Karan Johar is scheduled for June 20 at the prestigious Palace of Westminster, the historical seat of the U.K. Parliament housing both the House of Commons and the House of Lords.
