Alchemy of Souls, a Korean drama, gained enormous popularity on Netflix week over week. The k-drama has already been renewed for a second season; filming is currently underway, and the show will return to Netflix in December 2022, much to the delight of fans.
The South Korean fantasy period drama series Alchemy of Souls, which was previously known as Return and is now produced by tvN, was written by Hong Mi Ran and Hong Jung Eun. Park Joon Hwa oversees the direction of the show.
This week, “Alchemy of Souls” rose to No. 1 on Good Data Corporation’s weekly list of the dramas that generated the most buzz. The company determines each week’s rankings by collecting data from news articles, blog posts, online communities, videos, and social media about dramas that are either currently airing or set to air soon.
Not only did “Alchemy of Souls” top the list of most buzzworthy dramas, but its stars also dominated the list of most buzzworthy drama cast members, claiming four out of the top 10 spots for the week. Jung So Min climbed to No. 1, followed by Lee Jae Wook at No. 3, Go Yoon Jung at No. 4, and Jo Jae Yoon at No. 9.
