What do the writers have to do to bring the rating back up if there is a fall in the ratings of the show. Is there a formula for this?

Every story has its own crests and constructs and if you are a creative person in the channel, you will know that and then you will not lose your patience. A strong creator will hold up against the pressure and will not panic and deflect from the plot, will keep the story organic and characters will keep their arc as the story intended to. But if you’re a smaller producer, and you can’t hold up against the pressure you won’t be caught up with you will use steroids. These could be plots like an accident, a kidnapping, a wedding, which may increase the ratings for a couple of weeks, but then you’ve shortened the length of your show considerably. Just because once you show the audience that your protagonist has escalated the situation, there is no going back, the situation will need to be escalated further to keep the momentum and the interest.
So, organic storytelling it requires all stakeholders to be patient.
