Akshay Kumar‘s much-awaited film ‘Ram Setu’ is drumming up hype by the minute. The film is still a month away from release. Ram Setu hits theatres on 25th October, as a Diwali 2022 release. But the buzz for Ram Setu has already begun gathering pace. The makers of the film released the first teaser of Ram Setu at noon this afternoon. And believe us when we tell you, all the hype is totally for real!

Ram Setu‘s teaser gives us an inkling of what we can expect when the film finally hits theatres. The film promises a heavy dose of high octane action, for one. Intrigue, danger and mystery abound in dollops. Since the Ram Setu is a bridge built in the rough waters of the Indian Ocean, there’s a reasonable amount of adventure on the high seas involved. There’s also lots of deep sea diving into the ocean waters, which will lead to the ultimate truth. The final shot in the Ram Setu teaser is goosebumps inducing for certain.

Ram Setu boasts an intriguing plot. Akshay Kumar plays an archaeologist in the film who sets out to discover whether the ‘Ram Setu’ did exist ever or not. For those who don’t know, Ram Setu is the legendary, mythological bridge mentioned in the Ramayana. It is the bridge built by Lord Rama’s army to supposedly connect mainland India with the island of Lanka, as it was known in the epic mythology.

Ram Setu is directed by Abhishek Sharma (Parmanu, Zoya Factor), creative produced by Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi, and co-produced by Amazon Prime Video, Lyca Productions (2.0), Cape Of Good Films, and Vikram Malhotra’s Abundantia Entertainment. The film marks the Hindi debut of Telugu star Satya Dev. Besides Akshay Kumar and Satya Dev, Ram Setu stars Nushratt Bharuccha and Jacqueline Fernandez in pivotal roles.
