A- Soulful filme kam ban rahi hai aur projects jyada bann rahe hai. Yeh Hero ke date mil gaye, ese koi heroine match karke Lelo. Film banao kyunki kujhe 40 din me film complete karni hai. Pehle wait karte the, in this character we only see x,y, z hero heroine character actor villan comedian har ek ke liye. Gane jo hote the wo sirf item song nahi hote the. It used to be with the situation. Lyrics specially gane situation ke hisabse likhe jate hai. Ab bss wo chala hai radio pe, wo chala hai promos toh kuchhbhi chalao. Esiliye evergreen music nahi banta. So you no need to waste that much film. Pehele hum log shot dete the, kamal ka shot hua karta tha suddenly DOP bolta tha arey reel khatam ho gaya. And then to re create that shot would be difficult. But now because of digital you can go on and on and on. Wo reel ka problem nahi, wo cans me jake wo transportation ka problem, kabhi reels ghum gaye, kharab ho gaye toh ofcourse technically film making has improved. Audience doesn’t have patience. Wo jaha 3 ghante ki film banti thi ab 2 ghante ki banti hai. Songs duration jaha 6-6, 10 din ki shooting karte the ab 2-3 din khatam ho jata hai gana. Duration kam ho gayi. But ek chiz constant hai. If you make a good soulful content film for the masses wo chalni hi chalni hai. That can not change. Aap kitna bhi shor sharaba daldo, kitne bhi bade sets daldo, agar aapki film superficial hai, Friday Saturday Sunday lagg jayega which is a game now. Par wo kahani memorable nahi ho jayegi. Wo film memorable nahi hogi.

Kaunsa character bachh gaya jo karna hai aapko?
A- I want to play a detective, I want to play a cop, I want to play a bad girl, problem kya hai koi mujhe negative role deta nahi hai kehete hai ki chehra bohot masum hai. Par yehi toh hai end me agar aap ameesha patel ko nagative kardo toh audience ko pata hi nahi chalega ki yeh negative ho bhi sakti hai. That will a be good plot.
Aap ho personal life me bad girl, thodisi cunning?
A- nahi nahi, ata hi nahi wo karneko.. me honest hun, jo dikhti hun woi hun me. What you see is what I am.
Jealousy hoti hai aapko?
A- Jealousy for the good, ofcourse I’m human ofcourse aati hai. Kyunki Kabhi kabar esa lagta hai ki that was deserving for me I should be there in that place. Esa mere sath kyu nahi hua ya kyu hua. Toh hoti hai but not in a negative way ki me kisise kuchj chhin lun. I’m human person so I have my downs. I’m not a god at all so humare me human emotions hote hai toh jealousy, you feel lack of confidence, you feel low, but you feel happy also.
I feel very jealous when I see good character roles. Like I see the good kind of roles Julia Roberts does, Meg Ryan has does I feel that kind of cinema that needs to be done.i have loved Mughal-e-Azam, Pakizaa, umraojaan, I’ve really loved Rani Mukerji’s character in hum tum, kajol’s character in dilwale dulhaniya, I am saying jo merepe suit ho sakta tha lekin I want to play lady copy, I loved the character of Aishwarya Rai in Jodha Akbar, I would love to play princess, Rajput era, or mughal era. I love period films.
Kaunsa character ekdm nahi kar sakte aap?
A- esa koi character nahi hai jo me dil aur jaan na dun, aur attempt karu fir audience pe dependent hai whether they accept me or not. I don’t know what I can’t do yet because as an actor, you always feel challenged ki mujhe esa kuchh do jo mene kiya nahi hai. I want to attempt it. How successfully I do it woh toh mujhe pata nahi hai.
Sakeena aur Ameesha me kya kya similarities hai? Aur kya difference hai?
A- bohot emotional hai, bohot padhi likhi hai yeh common hai, sakeena political background ki thi, me bhi political background se hun. Mere dadaji Barrister Rajnee Patel was Indira Gandhi’s right hand. And Congress president. So I come from a political background. She went away to study, mebhi America padhne chali gayi. She is very loyal and brave. Anything, any hurdle in life Sakeena ke samne daldo toh wo with strength she will face it. And I’m that kind of girl in real life.
In future mauka mila toh politics me jayengi?
A- log kehte toh hai jana chaiye, but I don’t know I am cut out for it yet. Me bohot nazuk dil ko hun. Khandan ki parmpara hai esiliye Log bolte hai jana chahiye, you have to join, mujhe bohot offers aate rehte hai from different parties all the time. Dadaji ki legacy ko kon aage leke jayenge. A- bohot. Bohot utar chadhav aaye life me, bohot log jud gaye, bohot logonse me hatt gayi. Bohot esi chize aayi industry ke bohot pehelu dekhne mile, lekin life ko bohot acchi tarahse samjh gayi me. Mere hisabse for my living. Bohot se acche dost bhi ban gaye. Ek life ka hissa bhi bann gaye who I cannot leave without. Bohot acche log bhi mile, logonke asli chehre bhi dekhne mile. Good and bad. So ek journey hai. I’m mature. I was a school college girl jab Gadar ayi thi. You know I’ve learnt life has taught me.
Agar aajki tarikh me aap career ki shurvat karti toh kya kya nahi karti jo pehele kar chuki hai aap?
A- probably kai esi filme thi jo bachpane ki wajese inkar ki thi. I don’t want to mention it. Some were super hits some were super flop also. Esa nahi hai ki sab hit filme the. Lekin bakika every success and failure teaches you. So I’m okay with experiences of my life.
Fitness ka kya raaz hai?
A- good exercise, healthy lifestyle, ek genetically bless hona bhi bohot jaruri hai. Jese mene kaha sunny is a Rolls-Royce of all the heroes toh maintenance bhi important hai. No drinking, no smoking, no drugs, clean eating, good thoughts happy thoughts. I think you are as rich as what you eat what you take in. Reading good books, watching good things on tv, being surrounded by good people, because that really makes your persona rich and good life experiences.
Gadar 2 se kya sandesh jane wala hai dekhne ke bad?
A- Firse aap aagye na, chori chhupe aahi jate hai aap. Theatre Jake dekhlo, pata chalega. Gadar ek esi film hai, it deals with Hindustan Pakistan. Hindu Muslim lekin hum logone kabhibhi difference nahi kiya. Hum log humesha bhaicharese, live with peach, live with unity, live with love ka Messege humesha dete hai. Gadar 2 bhi yehi sandesh degi. Yeh there is Hindustan Pakistan, yes there is Hindu Muslim but esme bhi divide karne ka koi sandesha nahi denge. We always say united. So that will always be Gadar. It will never be divide. Esme jyada kya hone wala hai? Action? drama? emotion? Love? Romance?
A- Everything mixed with everything like Gadar 1. I hope audiences ka pyar jyada mil jayega aur kuchh nahi. Hum koshish kar rahe hai ki audiences ka pyar hume jyada mile.
