Renowned sitar player, producer, and composer Anoushka Shankar has announced the upcoming release of a new mini-album in October.

Titled “Chapter I: Forever, For Now,” the album will be released under Nils Frahm’s LEITER label and features production by Arooj Aftab. This release comes after Shankar’s live album, “Between Us…,” which garnered a Grammy nomination for Best Global Album in 2023.

“Chapter I: Forever, For Now” serves as the first installment in a trilogy of releases that Shankar plans to write and unveil while touring.
