CAST: LEANDER PAES, MAHESH BHUPATI, SANIA MIRZA, AND VARIOUS OTHERS
DIRECTORS: ASHWINY IYER TIWARI AND NITESH TIWARI
When Leander and Mahesh tango, it is like watching a synchronized dance. Even when the two are not communicating, they are. In fact like the Woodies ( Mark Woodforde and Todd Woodbridge), they performed better while not communicating. In the two aspects of this review, we cover the journalistic quality of this review as the docuseries depend to a great extent on archived footage of rumors, false news, and headlines. We also review the technical aspect of the classic method in which the docuseries are framed. The story is compelling and the narrative is in sync with the momentum of the events.
Ashwiny Iyer and Nitesh Tiwari’s #BreakPoint is a docu-drama worth a watch. You get to understand the dynamics between the two players, the friendship and the ego clashes, and just the triviality of all that went into spoiling India’s best chance to be on the Tennis forefront.
