THE BLUF– in an inspirational movie about how women can be supported through thick and thin by men, this is a tribute to every woman who has bear the brunt of patriarchy on her path to success.
THE MEAT AND THE POTATOES– 16 girls are selected from various states to play Hockey for India who has their own attitude and is cocksure. Kabir Khan, a disgraced captain of the Hockey team who wants to redeem himself after seven years takes up the challenge to train these girls. He tries to get these girls familiar with each other by letting them know the importance of International level games. Now will he be successful in getting them bonded or will he have to go out of the way to get the cup for India?
IN THE ZONE– Shah Rukh Khan plays Kabir Khan. In an outstanding performance, SRK stands out. All the girls are good in their own character but a special mention for Sagarika Ghatge who looks stunning and is a go-getter. The Captain villian of the women Hockey team Shilpa Shukla along with the Punjabi character played by Tania Abrol are a treat to watch.
FWAR– The movie is fast-paced and there is never a dull moment. The last scene of the movie which has the famous Shah Rukh Khan dialogue is a complete winner. The scenes between all the girls are well-directed especially the final match.
