Gaurav Banerjee, Head – Content, Disney+ Hotstar along with Rebecca Campbell, Chairman, International content and Operations spoke about Mahabharat.

He explained how big Disney+ Hotstar plans to take the story of Mahabharata global, “It’s an incredibly powerful epic story. It will have great action; we want to do justice for the depth of this story that is inherently there in Mahabharata. It’s indebted to our culture that makes it exciting and we want to go global with it. We want to create something that travels.”

Mahabharata is one of India’s greatest epics of ancient India. The story speaks of the ultimate conflict between Dharma & Adharma manifested through the battle for succession between the Pandavas & Kauravas.
