In true sitcom style, Mind the Malhotras is a very engaging next season of the show.

Rishabh Malhotra (Cyrus Sahukar)’s life depends on a merger with a Japanese corporation. He wants it for a better family life. Meanwhile his wife,Shefali Malhotra (Mini Mathur) focuses on her YouTube channel on cooking called Shef the Chef.

The vibe of the show changes this season, Cyrus Sahukar’s Rishabh Malhotra is funnier than before.

Denzil Smith is back as the therapist Dr. Gulfam and he is the therapist who keeps the fun in the story going strong.

Jason D’Souza’s Yohan/Yoyo is keeping the environment flag flying high in true Gen X style where the show is more than the understanding of the issue.

Nikki Sharma as Dia and Anandita Pagnis as Jia are cute as hell as sisters who are as different chalk and cheese.

Rahul Verma as Zorawar/Zoru has limited screen time , yet is effective.

The show ‘s new entrants, Dileep Tahil as Roshan, Sunita Malhotra’s brand new , guitar strumming boyfriend makes a case for breaking ageism stereotypes.

The acceptance by Rish and Shef by giving enough space to their daughters to make their own choices in life is another great angle.

Kabir Jai Bedi as Jia’s boyfriend Rocky is entertaining. Sameer Kochhar as Rishabh Jain is perfectly cast and makes for a fun angle with his gay boyfriend.

Maria Goretti’s Chef Maria makes a cameo appearance .

The episodes to drag a bit at times and you want them to FF the drama but on the whole, it is a wholesome, family comedy sitcom that reminds you of pre-Ekta Kapoor times when content was clean and progressive.
