The current track of the show revolves around Akshara learning about a doctor who can treat Abhimanyu’s ailment. However, the doctor has quit doing surgeries. Akshara has learned that only he can operate Abhimanyu’s hand and get him to normalcy.

All this while there has been a lot of speculation regarding the actor who’d play the role. Sources also suggest that the doctor will fell in love with Akshara. Now, as per ETimes, actor Mrunal Jain has been roped in for the prominent character that of Abhimanyu’s doctor. Mrunal has confirmed the buzz and will began shooting for the show soon.

In an interview with ETimes, Mrunal said, “It is a fantastic opportunity for me to be part of the longest running show. I have never played a doctor in my career and I’m already talking to my cousins who are doctors to understand the character.”
