Kashmir is magical and Notebook captures each frame like an unforgettable canvas.

Rich, warm with shades of color that only the valley of Kashmir can blossom into, this unusual love story between two teachers of a remote school on the Wular lake is poignant and heart breaking all at the same time.

In their quest to keep the children who come to school from falling astray and taking self destructive path, both the teachers communicate with each other on a notebook kept at the school. One of them is a Muslim and the other a kashmiri Hindu who left the valley in midst of a communally influenced exodus. The story is woven beautifully around the exquisite frames and the two lead characters only meet in the last scene of the movie.

Directed by Nitin Kakkar, Notebook is a masterpiece of storytelling. It evokes emotion in each sequence and deeply connects with its audiences.
