The audience also needs to be brave
It is a chicken and egg story. On the one end, the television industry is serving these women what they want to hear but on the other hand, they are deliberately disallowing them growth and opportunities by telling them through these stories that their lives are as limited as the stories of these protagonists.
The women are being told that it is their responsibly to keep a family together, to be superhuman and to do everything that is at the expense of their own lives, mental and physical health to serve the needs of those around them because that is the role defined for them by the writers of the serials.
It is their job to fix the misogyny of their husbands, to suffer in silence the abuse of everyone because women must not speak back. Good women must also keep families together. All gargantuan tasks for normal human beings must be performed by women, silently and all this is glorified by these soaps.
