Disney recently began a yearly event last year called Disney+ Day, in which new announcements relating to the streaming service would be revealed.

Since then, fans began predicting what Marvel Studios would reveal at the next Disney+ Day in 2022.

In anticipation of the next Disney+ Day, Disney has announced a list of films and series that will premiere on Thursday, September 8, including Marvel Studios’ Thor: Love and Thunder.

Chris Hemsworth, the Australian actor who plays the titular role, took to his Instagram handle to announce its digital premiere, where he wrote, “Get your couches ready for the premiere of Thor: Love and Thunder on @DisneyPlus on September 8th. #DisneyPlusDay”.
