The theme of this series and its seasons Tripling created by TVF is a fresh story with an unconventional dynamic where the story of a family is presented without resorting to any of the hindi content tropes. This is a story of siblings trying to navigate through life while unconditionally understanding the importance of their presence in each other’s lives.
Season 3 story is by Arunabh Kumar & Sumeet Vyas, screenplay by Arunabh, Sumeet & Abbas Dalal, and directed by Neeraj Udhwani, Tripling Season 3 takes off like the last two seasons where all three are scattered in different parts of the country and need to come together to resolve another issue.
This time the triplings need to come together to prevent the separation of their parents (played by Kumud Mishra and Shernaz Patel)
The season begins with Chandan (Sumeet Vyas) receiving a phone call about his parents getting separated. He then contacts Chitvan and Chanchal, and the trio returns to their paternal home in the hills to deal with the situation. From the moment they meet, viewers are invested in their mission of bringing the parents together. The concept of parents making the ‘bold’ decision, and their children not being ready to accept it is actually entertaining.
The parents have now decided to divorce after 35 years of marriage because they have shared a lifetime of happiness together but now want different things in life and lead a life beyond their roles as parents to the siblings.
Vyas performs well as the show’s writer and actor. Gagroo’s role is meatier than the space she got in the last seasons, and Parashar gives the best performance of his career by displaying Chitvan’s frail side. Kumud Mishra and Shernaz Patel are magnificent in their range and projection as their parents. Kunaal Roy Kapur is great as Chanchal’s husband Pranav.
Amol Parashar as chitvan really excels.
The villa location is simply breath-taking. The aerial shots and pans set the atmosphere of the family abode extremely well. This sequel has some good writing and projects a turn of events when the children become parents to their parents as they understand their point of view and help them find their lives.
The series is carried by the stand-out performances , making these five episodes of 25-minute episodes light-hearted and entertaining to watch.
