Xiang Yun is a broadcaster and a popular masked live streamer under the alias Asher. To her fan’s disappointment, she stopped live streaming. The reason for that is the pressure her grandfather applied on her to get married by going on blind dates. To avoid this, she comes to an understanding with her grandfather that she will go to Velin to work at a vehicle navigational company that belongs to her family and is not doing well financially. Grandpa challenges her to turn Veilin around and make it profitable.
In return, she could do what she wanted in life, and Grandpa would not send her on another blind date. Her agreement with her grandfather was also never to reveal her identity as she works there.
On her way to Xian, where the company is located, Xiang Yun runs into Xu Yan Shi- her high school hot crush. ( If Bin Bin were in school with us – we would be doing the same sister)
Her high school crush turns up to work in the same team as her in her new workplace. As Xiang Yun starts getting adjusted to the workplace, sparks fly again.
The show has flashbacks to the time when they were high schoolers and how Xiang Yun’s infatuation with Yan Shi started. Flash forward, as they start working together, they start collaborating to solve problems together.
However, what the reality is that Yan Shi had always been in love with Xiang Yun and here is where the female lead’s character starts becoming irritating. Not only is she dumb and keeps getting angry at him for no reason but also doubts his character several times; while lying to him the entire time about her identity and circumstances.
She uses him and his niceties. He stands up for her, protects her and really puts himself out for her to makes sure she is safe – but she is a spoilt, selfish brat. You really feel for Bin Bin.
17 episodes down, we really hope Bin Bin stops being so nice to her and leaves her. But don’t let us tell you any more spoilers.
