In an incidental encounter, while Song Haoyu is aiding his son Chencheng in selecting a birthday gift, he observes the identical brooch adorning Qi Sile, mirroring the one Chencheng possesses.
Triggered by the coincidence of the brooch, Song Haoyu gradually establishes the connection between Xuanxuan and Chencheng.
To ensure a unified family for the children, Song Haoyu extends a marriage proposal to Qi Sile, setting both of them on a course toward a marriage filled with uncertainties.
Qi Sile starts the relationship with hope and love, however, Haoyu shows her his cold demeanor right after they wed. She decides to keep a distance from him and focuses on the children- both of whom she loves deeply.
Then starts the villainous third angle – who is a President of another company but is trying to get close to Qi Sile to harm Haoyu. Flashbacks suggest that Haoyu may have dated his sister.
The angle of whether Qi Sile is the real mother to Xuanxuan is also yet to be explored in the series. Some sub-plots indicate that she may have just taken care of a sick kid for her sister who deserted her daughter.
But what is the real reason for Haoyu to have insisted on marrying Qi Sile? What is the relationship between Qi Sile’s sister and Haoyu?
Will she come back now that the kid is cured? Is Haoyu still in love with his old flame?
All this and more still needs to be uncovered.
One question though – why do they provide such hideous hairstyles to the female leads while the second leads and negative leads get the better clothes and hairstyles?
Waiting for more layers to unpeel in this show.
