The initial investigation into a shootout at the Night Owl Bar suggests political motivations, but further revelations lead ACP Verma to suspect a different intended target. The specific manner in which another victim, Azma Khan, was shot that night draws his attention.

Meanwhile, in Jaipur, a woman is found shot dead in a secluded area, and ACP Verma is called upon for his expertise due to the unusual nature of the killing. As connections between the two deaths emerge and another victim is added to the tally, the links between the incidents become apparent. ACP Verma, assisted by Inspector Sanjana Bhatia (Prachi Desai), pushes his team to unravel the mystery before further lives are lost.

Silence 2 Review: Manoj Bajpayee Delivers Another Measured Performance - 2.5 Stars

“Silence 2 – Shootout at Night Owl Bar” heavily relies on Manoj Bajpayee’s portrayal of ACP Verma, who adds significant depth to the film. The narrative unfolds through a thorough investigation, introducing additional characters, including the first victim’s enigmatic client, the elusive double-dealing antagonist Arjun Chauhan, and a woman concealing a girl in her home.

Silence 2: Manoj Bajpayee Is Back As ACP Avinash Verma Who Unravels Mysterious Murder Of A Woman

As the Special Crime Unit digs deeper, unsettling secrets are disclosed. The screenplay attempts to explore ACP Verma’s solitary personal life, though this subplot remains largely undeveloped. The film’s major weaknesses are its occasionally awkward camera angles and editing, which detract from the storytelling. Despite a detailed plot that sometimes drags and includes an unpredictable twist, the resolution may feel unconvincing and leave some questions unanswered.

In what is generally an average thriller, Manoj Bajpayee’s compelling performance stands out. His strong and confident depiction of ACP Verma drives the film.
