Adapted from the book, “Walking Through Fire for You” (他从火光中走来) by Er Dong Tu Zi (耳东兔子), “Bright Eyes in the Dark” is a captivating Chinese drama that centers around Lin Lu Xiao, a firefighter with exceptional skills and a wealth of experience, who serves as the head of the Special Operations Station on Heping Road in Beixun City. Unexpectedly, he is selected to be an instructor for a reality show designed to promote firefighting knowledge.
During the course of the show, Lin Lu Xiao’s path crosses once again with Nan Chu, a dancer he had previously rescued several times from different incidents of fire several years ago. Although Nan Chu develops affection for Lin Lu Xiao, he maintains a cautious distance due to the inherent risks associated with his profession.
The series introduces a new generation of brave and determined firefighters, including individuals like Shao Yi Jiu and Qin Shi Quan. Additionally, Lou Mingye, who brings advanced equipment technology from abroad, joins the ranks.
