KHUDA HAAFIZ: IS FILLED WITH ACTION

The politicization of Bollywood has really made it difficult for journalists to critique movies. Khuda Haafiz is one such story. It is a 1970’s staple of man rescue woman with a fast cars, guns, bad guys, cops and the chase.

While the story, the narrative and the action sequences are quite well composed, the story has absolutely no new nuance to offer except for one thing.

India may have found its own Vin Diesel. Vidyut Jamwal is tall, with classic handsome looks, moves with agility, packs a punch and has a physique of a Greek God. Drool material for the ladies that dig the brawn.

The story is based between Lucknow, a city in India and a fictional country in the Middle East called, well… Noman.

Noman is full of human traffickers, bad guys, golden hearted Afghan taxi drivers and a whole world of crime. When Nargis (Shivaleeka Oberoi), Sameer’s wife gets kidnapped by a human trafficking gang in Noman, our hero makes his way to Middle East to track and rescue his wife with Anu Kapoor as a afghani taxi driver for his support.

What follows is the lone hero fighting the world to bring his wife back and that’s the story for over 2 hours.

Find of the effort – Vidyut Diesel Jamwal. Rooting for more action.
