After impressing the audience with her performance in web shows like Chakravyuh: An Inspector Virkar Crime Thriller and Runaway Lugaai on MX Player, which fetched her a nomination at the Filmfare OTT Awards 2021 in the Best Actor (Female) category, former pageant queen, Ruhii Siingh is all set to showcase her talent on the international circuit. The actress, who also starred in the film Calendar Girls, is heading to the US after signing a plum role that will mark her Hollywood debut. While the details of the project are being kept under wraps, it is learnt that it will present the actress in an avatar which no other Indian celebrity has ever been seen in before.

Represented by Times Talent, Ruhii has cracked a deal with Disruptor Studios for her debut Hollywood project. Chad Greulach, Founder, Disruptor Studios, who has earlier been associated with international shows like Gene Simmons: Family Jewels and Criss Angel: Believe, is looking forward to the association. He says, “I’ve had the distinct privilege of living in and working with successful production houses. Ruhii represents the modern Indian woman who, if given the global platform, could blaze a trail that inspires an entire generation of young girls in India and around the world. We look forward to working with Ruhii and our retail and media partners here in the US to deliver Ruhii’s story, message, and the modern Indian spirit to the world.”

Ruhii is excited to represent India internationally. Talking about being a part of the project, she shares, “I’m looking forward to working with Chad. I feel this was an opportunity that was long due. Coming from a background with no roots in the film industry, it has taken years of hard work and I look forward to learning and growing globally as well as in India. Acting in the US will be quite exciting, but simultaneously, I’m looking forward to all the avenues which have opened up and continue to open in India. I am delighted to be a part of global cinema and shows, which have a mix of both East and the West. I also feel proud and grateful to be one of the faces representing India in Hollywood and I can’t wait to start this new chapter.”
