He wakes up to a 4 am alarm and topples everything.
Ram ‘s family is still plotting to get Priya and Ram’s wedding annulled while breaking up Akshay and Shivina’s wedding on the day of the wedding.
Now, if they had better ideas maybe we could recommend more viable plots for this but they are hell bent on borrowing plots from other ekramas to fill in their time.

In the 8 episode long wedding, all drama happens in a very ektaesque manner and then some.
As Ram apologizes to Meera for walking off in a huff, Priya reciprocates by apologizing to Shubham for the confusion.
Ram really appreciates that.
Now that all drama is over leading into this, Ram’s mom Nandini sets her eyes on stopping the Akshay Shivina wedding. Start of another plotting session.
Meanwhile, Meera asks Nandini to send Ram and Priya ( we almost said Sita cuz whoever dressed @dishaparmar/@disha11parmar made her look very celestial)to come by for a puja for Dasshera. Ram asks his mom to which she says that they could do that first before coming home.
While the car rolls away after all the bye byes, Ram starts sobbing which is the cutest thing we have ever seen. We look forward to the banter between Ram and Priya so much now given the character and spunk both Nakul and Disha bring to their roles.

As Ram lay in pain and faints behind the car, no one can really figure out where the groom is. Priya leaves the bridal venue to roam around n the streets looking for Ram.
Nandini had made her feel inadequate for her family and Ram but Priya decides that unless Ram tells her that he does not want to marry her anymore.
As she returns without Ram she decides to walk away from the wedding. Brinda and Shivina beg her to wait as does her mother. As she starts leaving Ram arrives.
It seems that the Hanuman who spotted Priya looking for Ram, found Ram on the roadside almost fainted and called his doctor for help.
Ram doesnt tell anyone about the allergic reaction but apologizes to Priya and tells her that he is ready to get married.
The marriage finally concludes.

Nandini, who was looking at an opportunity to cancel the wedding, gets her vantage.
The cops come to arrest Shubham because the car almost ran over Sandy.
Ofcourse, Priya and her sisters did not know who the driver was, but the girls who make their voices heard everywhere else are not allowed that specific dialogue in the entire episode to explain their situation. Designed for Drama.
Ram leaves the wedding halfway without completing the pheras so he can bail his brother out and if any of us were the bride royally dumped at the mandap, it would have taken us more than just the groom returning to continue the wedding ceremony.
Nandini berates Priya which honestly was so hard to watch that we had to FF. Who allows anyone to talk like that to anyone else?
This woman who is playing Nandini had similar issues in Kasauti Zindagi ki 2. Don’t get us wrong but how about some career growth?
But this is Priya and this is an Ekta Drama ( we are gonna call them Ekramas) so we continue a sequence of the bride looking for the groom. The groom gets his allergy attack from the prawns disguised as paneer. Magically all the pills that his minions carry for him are not in play anymore.
The monkey God Hanuman who reunited Ram and Sita appears again and then some.

This wedding is long, circuitous, and full of cliffhangers.

Will the cops land on time to disrupt the happy wedding
Will the wedding finally get done? That’s not something we doubt at all.
So between prawns in the shape of paneer-induced allergies, the Jai mala, and other antics which Priya amusingly seems not amused at commence.
The mami video is deemed useless after the wedding hall loses its electricity and the scandal gets diverted for now.

An Indian wedding drama starts in the show. People are still trying to break up the weddings. But it is always Priya’s stepmom who gets brilliant ideas.
I mean how brilliant is the idea that when she finds out that Ram is allergic to prawns, she makes sure she cooks some and sends her son to contaminate Ram’s food with it.
All while the marriage procession is making its way to Priya’s community hall.
Priya is already worried about the delay in the availability of the wedding venue because the earlier wedding is delayed.
As Ram catches the worry in Priya’s voice, he sends the entire wedding procession of his family and friends through a more circuitous route so they get delayed to the venue.
Nandini, Ram mom watches the video where Priya is telling Neeraj that she is over him but because Ram’s mami recorded only the select scenes which could be misconstrued.
The funny part is that Nandini wants to form the basis to call off Ram’s wedding when she herself is aware that Ram is still in love with Vedika. Think the joke is gonna be on her? Yeah, we do too.
In the precap, Ram reaches the wedding venue before all else without letting Priya know that he knows about her worry. He orders some food from a street vendor and magically Priya’s stepbrother appears to contaminate his paneer with prawns.

As Ram gets dressed to be groom, Priya is a vision of simplicity and grace. Both families get ready to rock and roll, Ram’s family’s real interest in keeping up the appearance of being so interested in his ceremonies are laced with utter disrespect and superficiality.
They just don’t care and his friends are sad about it.
As Ram gets ready, he asks Brinda if Priya would be missing her father on her big day and if he should invite him.
Priya on the other hand consoles herself and her mother by telling them that they are better off without him.
As they drive to the venue of the wedding, there is a procession for Lord Ram in their way which would increase their drive time to the venue by 2 hours.
The priest and the people on the procession dressed as Lord Ram call her Sita and Hanumanji from the procession clears the way for Priya’s bridal car to pass.
In the precap, Priya’s stepmom comes to know that Ram is allergic to prawns and magically produces prawns so a street vendor can serve that food to Ram so he falls sick.

Ram asks his mother to agree to Meera’s request of hosting the wedding in a community hall. As Nandini comes to know that Ram and Meera had conversed before to discuss this, she becomes extremely insecure about Ram giving Priya’s family the love and attention that she and her kids solely had.
She tells her brother that she may be making a mistake by getting Ram and Priya married because Ram has become a part of Priya’s family already.
Ram’s friends ask him if he was in love with Priya already and he vehemently denies it telling them he was doing it for Shivina’s happiness and for making sure Neeraj doesn’t mess with Priya and her mom again.
Sid tells Shubham that getting married to Ram was Priya’s game plan which Shubham rubbishes for the moment.
As they are driving, Sid tries to take over the steering wheel and almost hits Sandy on the road. Priya takes a photo of the car’s number plate and wants to go to the police station to report the accident but her family try to stop her.

Shashi manipulates Ram to send him to Delhi for their project together and he goes for the sake of Sid, who is loitering around and making comments about Priya. He seems to be a bum.
Ram’s family decides that it is not important for Ram to be at his own Sangeet because the marriage of Priya and Ram does not mean much to them anyway.
Ram’s friends visit Priya to tell her that Ram is not in town a few hours before the Sangeet, hoping Priya does not blow up. Akshay blows up and calls Shivina to tell her that Ram and Priya’s sangeet does not happen, nor will theirs.
Brinda likes Priya and she visits Priya to gift her a dress for the night. Priya likes Brinda as she seems to be the only one from Ram’s family and friends who is not judging her as a gold digger.
Shashi sends Vedu to poison the mind of Priya’s mom Meera against Ram. Priya goes to meet Vedika instead and when Vedika tries to tell Priya that Ram is in love with someone else, Priya tells her that she is already aware of that and does not need to be instigated.

Priya’s father has no interest in maintaining the decorum and dignity of his relationship with his daughters or his ex-wife.
Any intelligent person would doubt his sudden turn about except of course our storytellers who want to show the naivety of our female leads as a matter of character appreciation. It is not.
Having said that we see that the character development of Ram is definitely a stronger one than that of Ram in the earlier version of this series.
Ram is no naive guy. He does not agree with what people want him to agree with.
He comes across as a business person with acumen and a mind of his own who does not stand for anything that doesnt become fair.
We like that a lot.

Both Ram and Priya realize that they were similar yet different in many ways. They were both hurt in love. Where Ram openly
mourned his love’s betrayal, Priya was bitter and hurt about it.
The other thing Ram realized they had in common was that both of them would do anything for their families.
The engagements run smoothly after that. Ram tells Priya that they should pretend to be happy so that everyone present, especially Neeraj, her ex would be convinced that she has moved on.
He tells her jokes and they both burst into laughter.
Akshay’s mother thinks that Priya may harm Akshay’s marriage. Akshay reiterates to his mother, Priya’s mami that his marriage is only possible because of Priya. Priya’s aunt is apprehensive about Priya’s father being an impediment to their marriage.
Priya’s father comes to their home and pretends to be hurt about not being able to attend his daughter’s engagement. Her mother agrees to let him attend her wedding, unaware that he is there with the intent to disrupt both the alliances

As guests arrive for the engagement to the Kapoors home, several different subplots move in action.
Where Brinda totally supports Priya, her husband and other friends of Ram are skeptical about her, not knowing the back story.
Priya’s sisters are happy and excited for her. Ram’s stepmom is happy and engaged while his step mami is on a lookout for goss.
As the ceremony begins, Akshay and Shivina get engaged first.
Vedu helps Priya with her lipstick and is nice towards her while trying to avoid Ram.
Priya’s ex-boyfriend, current brother-in-law, and Maitreyi’s husband is finding it difficult to process that Priya is moving on from being hung up on him and articulates it within hearing distance of guests. Ram’s mami finds it appropriate to create a scene while Priya explains and Ram lightens the situation by supporting her. Ram is sensitive towards Priya and understands her enough not to openly embarrass her by complimenting her.

Though it turns out that Shivina’s pregnancy is a false alarm, Ram still wants to convince Priya to marry him. Priya’s father has another altercation with her family and says real rotten things about her on her face which leaves her mother so angry that she goes to Ram’s mother to agree to the wedding.
Ram’s friends try to convince him not to agree to marry Priya, yet he is adamant about the decision.
Priya, after being pressured by her family decides to meet Ram and calls him so they can meet.
At the dinner, Ram is honest with her about this intent and she is impressed with his honesty.
She agrees to marry him.

Priya’s mother visits Ram’s mom to tell her that she agrees to the alliance between Ram and Priya. Ram’s mother asks Ram if he will agree to marry Priya if she agrees too, he says yes.
Priya on the other hand has not agreed – in fact she is far from agreeable when Ram visits her at her work.
It seems that Shivi is not pregnant.
Vedu tells Ram that she saw Shivi at a maternity clinic and he puts things together to understand the undertone of hurry in his mom’s request.
However relieved Ram is about the negative test, he still feels that his marrying Priya will be the best outcome for both families and for Shivi and Akshay.

Ram refuses to get married to Priya. Priya explodes with anger at that thought. Her estranged father drops by the house to insult her. Why he should be allowed to enter their household after he is so derogatory towards her repeatedly is a mystery. But ok. He adds to the trauma of the female lead – so we buy it for now.
She barges in to meet Ram (and it is raining cats) and breaks down crying. He offers her a tissue. “Tissue Tissue par likha hai roney wale ka nam”, he says.
She laughs out loud. Bad Joke she says. Same sista but when the joke is told by Nakuul Mehta aka Ram Kapoor, it swings out of the park, however lame.
As they tell each other, “Hamari Shaadi No Chance” and laugh it off.
Shashi tries to destroy Akshay’s recrtuiment chances for an acting role.
