The 96th Academy Awards are upon us! Unfolding today, March 10, in Los Angeles, this prestigious event will see the crème de la crème of Hollywood congregate to honor the past year’s cinematic triumphs.
Topping the nomination list this year is Christopher Nolan’s ‘Oppenheimer’ with an impressive 13 nods, closely followed by ‘Poor Things’ by Yorgos Lanthimos and Martin Scorsese’s ‘Killers of the Flower Moon,’ receiving 11 and 10 nominations respectively. These films are in the running for Best Picture, alongside seven other contenders: ‘American Fiction,’ ‘The Holdovers,’ ‘Maestro,’ ‘Past Lives,’ ‘The Zone of Interest,’ and ‘Anatomy of a Fall.”
