Bollywood actor Yami Gautam is set to make her return to the screen with her upcoming film, ‘Lost’. Directed by Aniruddha Roy Choudhury, the film is inspired by true events and features Gautam in the role of a young crime reporter. The release date for ‘Lost’ was announced on January 26, 2023, and the film will premiere directly on web platform ZEE5. Following a successful 2022 in terms of her work, Gautam is excited to kick off the new year with this highly-anticipated project.

Lost is set in Kolkata and inspired by true events. Starring Yami Gautam in the lead role, it is a story of a bright young crime reporter in a relentless search for the truth behind the sudden disappearance of a young theatre activist. It further represents a higher quest and the search for lost values of empathy and integrity. The screenplay of the movie is written by Shyamal Sengupta. On the other hand, the dialogues are penned by Ritesh Shah. The movie also stars Pankaj Kapur, Rahul Khanna, Neil Bhoopalam, Pia Bajpiee and Tushar Pandey in key roles.
