YAMI GAUTAM: MY MOVIE LOST IS ABOUT HOPE

The same character can be played, performed in a very different way. But it’s the director’s choice. It’s his voice actually, that I’m expressing that he wants it to be. For Vidhi in Lost, there could be chaos all around her. But her character had to be centered.

THE CHANGE IS COMING ALBEIT SLOWLY

It is not only about the show makers and writers- what about the audience? Why is the audience not watching the shows that are presenting realistic plots?
The responsibility also lies with the audience to be brave to be a part of the change they want to see.

What do the writers have to do to bring the rating back up if there is a fall in the ratings of the show. Is there a formula for this?

Nilanjana feels that it is subjective and does depend upon on the channel and the stakeholders.
